Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the miniaturization as well as the integrated circuit formation by carrying out the aural intermediate frequency band passing, the elimination of the carrier chrominance signal, the delay function and the carrier chrominance signal band pass function each at the video intermediate frequency (VIF) region.
CONSTITUTION: The VIF signals sent from the tuner are separated at the stage of the video intermediate frequency region via aural VIF filter 21, luminance signal VIF filter 24 and chrominance signal VIF filter 27 each and then processed independently to obtain aural signal S, luminance signal Y plus three color difference signals R-Y, G-Y and B-Y each. The input terminal of luminance signal AGC voltage detection circuit 31 is connected to the output of luminance signal synchronous detection circuit 26, and the control is given to the amplification factor of luminance signal VIF amplifier 25 to secure the fixed luminance signal output level. The input terminal of chrominance signal AGC voltage detection circuit 32 is connected to the output of chrominance signal synchronous detection circuit 29 through burst sampling circuit 15 to give the control to the amplification factor of chrominance signal VIF amplifier 28.
