Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a compact roll paper holding configuration for miniaturizing a recorder by storing a roll paper holder within a recorder body when not in use, allowing to take out to set on an operational position when it is in use. CONSTITUTION:A chennel type guide 4 of a roll paper holder 3 is provided for the bottom of both sides of a recorder body 1. The roll paper holder 3 is composing of one set of L-type arms 5, a plate spring 6 which deviates the right and the left arms 5 inwardly, and a guide element 7 fixed with the plate spring 6 to fit slidably both edges of the element 7 in the guide 4. On processing in said manner, the holder 3 is stored within the body 1 when not in use. When it is in use, the holder 3 is taken out from the main body 1 to lock the notch 5d of the arm horizontal side 5a with the stopper 8. The spacing of the arms 5 is adjustable to meet with the roll paper width by the spring 6 and the hole 9. Both arms 5 are opened in opposiing to the spring 6 to fit the projection 5c in the roll paper core and to interpose the roll paper R across both arms 5 with the spring force.
