Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a compact roll paper holding configuration for miniaturizing a recording paper by storing a roll paper holder within a recorder body when not in use, allowing to take out to set on an operation position when it is in use.
CONSTITUTION: A roll paper holder 3 is comprising a plate spring 6 and one set of arms 5 which interpose a roll paper R. A guide element 7 is fixed with a plate spring 6 which deviates the the arm 5 inwardly, both ends of a member 7 are slidably fitted in the guide 4 of a recorder body 1. On using the holder, the arm 5 allows to take out from the main body 1 as shown by a solid line to lock a notch 5d of the arm horizontal side 5a with a stopper 8. In this case, the spacing across both arms 5 may be adjustable to meet with the roll paper width by the plate spring 6 and the arm perforation of the main body 1. Under this condition, both arms 5 are opened in opposing to the plate spring 6, the projection 5c being fitted in the roll paper core. By releasing the hand, the roll paper R is interposed across both arms 5 with the spring force for feeding the paper smoothly.
