Abstract

PURPOSE: To use solar heat for efficient cooling and to use the waste heat as a heat source for heating water and to save energy by making up a thermal circuit of a solar heat collector, the heater in a cooling circuit and a heat exchanger for heating water, all connected in the form of a closed circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A thermal circuit is made up by connecting in a loop from a solar heat collector 1, a heater 6 in a cooling equipment and a heat exchanger 4 for heating water. The heater 6 makes up a Rankine cycle by means of an expansion device 7, a heat exchanger 8 for using waste heat, a condenser 9 and a refrigerant circulating pump 10 and a cooling cycle is made up of the compressor 11, the condenser 12, the expansion valve 13 and the evaporator 14; and the air-conditioning apparatus is composed of them all. A hot water tank 15, a cold water tank 16 are connected with a heat exchanger 4 to accumulate heat. In addition, a bypass pipe 3 which is capable of bypassing the heat exchanger is provided to block the flow of the thermal carrier to the heat exchanger 4 by a controller A when the cooling circuit is in operation.
