Abstract
PURPOSE: To evade the need for electric power, to prevent freezing, and to prevent heat radiation from a solar energy collector when solar energy collecting operation has been suspended, by driving a circulating pump by an expansion apparatus in a Rankine cycle wherein the solar energy collector serves as a heating element, and letting a condenser act as a heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: The Rackine cycle is made up of the expansion apparatus 5 that is in communication with the outlet of the solar energy collector 4, the condenser 6, the iurculating pump 7 and a check valve 8. The expansion apparatus 5 drives the pump 7 coaxially, and the condenser 6 is placed in a hot water tank 1 for acting as a heat exchanger.
