Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the speed variations due to load variations of a DC motor by employing the feedback operation utilizing the feedback by the counter electromotive force of the motor and the variation of the current phase of a thyristor by a zener diode.
CONSTITUTION: A DC motor 8 is controlled through full-wave rectifying circuits 3-6 and a thyristor 7 from an AC power supply 1. There are provided a constant- voltage circuit by a zener diode 9, a variable voltage setting means 13 connected to the constant-voltage circuit, a time constant circuit having a capacitor 14, and a charging and discharging circuit having a capacitor 16 for applying the divided voltage of the constant-voltage circuit. A DIAC 17 conducting when the charging voltage reaches predetermined value applies a trigger signal to the thyristor 7. Since the counter electromotive force of the motor thus controls the charging potential of the capacitor 16 and the phase of the thyristor 7, it can extremely stabilize the speed of the motor.
