Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a thyristor circuit from invading of a surge by damping surge voltage, noise etc. before they flow into an invertor low voltage circuit from a high voltage circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A self-excited invertor 1 is connected to a load through a breaker 6 via a resistance/capacity circuit having an high voltage given by a transformer 2 equipped with a fault contact preventive board, the resistance/capacity circuit being composed of a resistor 3 inserted in parallel into the transformer 2 and a capacitor 4, and a reactor 5 connected in series behind the circuit. The surge voltage and noise produced by the closing and opening of the breaker 6 provided on the load side are damped because their high frequency components are removed by the reactor 5, resistor 3 and capacitor 4. Further, by reducing the transformer 2 to the one of fault contact preventive board earthing type, a phenomenon in which the surge is transferred via the floating capacity between the primary and secondary circuits of the transformer is eliminated.
