Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to acquire rapidly and accurately detection of a water leak pipe line from the magnitude of vibration energy by measuring vibration energy through a pressure-electric converter in plural positions where a distributing pipe system and a water pipe line system are exposed.
CONSTITUTION: For inspection of distributing pipe 21, vibration sensitive bar 1 is compressed into water control valve box 22, and switch 16 is made after bringing cap 7 of pickup part 4 of vibration sensitive bar 1 into contact with valve bar 23 of water control valve V. If water leak position (a) exists in distributing pipe 21, vibration dependent upon water leak is converted to an electric quantity by pressure-electric converter 11 of pickup part 4 of vibration sensitive bar 1, and the magnitude of this electric quantity is inputted to amplifier 2 through cords 16a and 16b and is converted to a decibel value and is displayed on decibel indication meter 18 and digital meter 19. Thus, a water leak pipe line can be detected rapidly and accurately on a basis of measured electric quantities in plural position.
