And with further push-in of the pause exhaustion lever, the forced exhaustion slider shifts to give turn to the 1st rising arm. Coupling to this turn of the arm, second rising arm 216 has turn. As a result, arm 38 turns along with arm 216 via coupling component 218 forming link mechanism L and driving arm 220, and then the rising turn is given to cassette arm 44 to shift cassette holder 41 to the exhaustion position. Thus the cassette exhaustion can be done even at the non-conducting time via the forced exhaustion mechanism for the magnetic recorder/reproducer incorporating the motor-driven cassette exhaustion device using the power of the motor.
