Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the load and removal of the cassette with high controllability and working efficiency by closing the switch of the pinion driving motor before intermeshing between the motor-driven ejection idler of the cassette and the pinion. CONSTITUTION:With push of pause/ejection button 193, the lock is released for the operation button under operation to set the recorder/reproducer under the pause mode. In this mode, if button 193 is pressed furthermore, slider 204 shifts to give turns to lock arm 14. As a result, the intermeshing is secured between idler 18 and pinion 10. Prior to this intermeshing, switch 27 is closed via arm 14, and pinion 10 is turned by the motor before intermeshing of idler 18. Thus the tooth tips touch to each other between pinion and idler 18 to avoid the incomplete intermeshing, and then cam gear turns via idler 18. And thus the motor-driven ejection is ensured to the cassette via the cam unified to gear 33 and others. So is with loading of the cassette.
