Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a polyester resin composition suitable as materials for precise wear-resistant component molding such as gears with superior wear resistance by kneading scaly natural mica treated with a silane coupling agent and fine glass beads with thermoplastic polyester resin.
CONSTITUTION: 1W30wt% Scaly natural mica (b) wetted with an aminosilane or amidosilane series coupling having higher than 20 of means aspect ratio, preferably higher than 50, and lower than 1.5% of bonding water is kneaded with thermoplastic polyester resin (a) such as polybutylene terephthalate resin, and 0W 20wt% of glass beads (c) having particle size of 5W50μ treated with a siliane series coupling agent are so kneaded as not to exceed 40wt% in the total amount of the glass beads and the mica to thereby obtain the object polyester resin composition. This composition is suitable as materials for gears, cams or the like for sewing machine or the like.
