Abstract

PURPOSE: The title ultra-fine amorphous yarn having a small fineness per filament, a high degree of orientation, improved raising property, hand, tensile strength and elongation, coherency, and a high heat shrinkage.

The yarn thus obtained is subjected to fluid turbulent treatment between the oiling device and take-off godet rolls to give the desired filament yarn having a fineness per filament ≤0.9de, preferably ≤0.6de, a birefringence ≥0.08, a coherency factor of 5W40 counts/m by the slight pin count method, and free from fiber diagrams in the wide angle X-ray diffractometry.
EFFECT: Improved unwinding property without fluffing and looping. Bulky yarns, fabrics, yarns of special hand can be otained in combination with low shrinkable yarns.
