Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture decorated plate with a natural tile-tone pattern by the procedure in which an embossed pattern is formed on a base material, and then the surface of the embossed pattern is coated with a transparent synthetic resin paint and then with a colored synthetic resin paint of the same series immediately.
CONSTITUTION: On the surface of the base material 1, e.g., plywood, particle board, etc., the embossed pattern 2 is formed by a textile printing method, etc., using a synthetic resin paint, and then all surface of the embossed pattern thus formed is coated with a transparent synthetic resin paint of urethane resin, acrylic resin, etc., and then with a colored synthetic resin paint of the same series immediately, followed by drying. Thus, a linear pattern resulting from dyes and pigments present in the colored synthetic resin paint used is formed along the peripheries of the embossed pattern 2 and thereby a natural tile-tone beautiful decorated plate is manufactured.
