Abstract
PURPOSE:To accelerate the atomization of mixed gas with the assistance of a dual- structure tube downstream of a carburetor using an exhaust gas during its release under a low load and also introducing an exhaust gas into anothor chamber of the dual-structure tube during idling under exhaust gas release or a medium load. CONSTITUTION:A mixed gas atomization accelerator 6 is provided upstream of the concentration part 5c of exhaust manifolds 5 downstream of a carburetor. This accelerator 6 introduces exhaust gas originating from an exhaust gas passage 10 into an upper heating space 6c and heat-atomizes liquid fuel being conducted on the wall surface in a mixed gas through an inner port 6a. In the meantime, the accelerator conducts the afore-mentioned exhaust gas to cross valve 11a from release orifice 8 via electromagnetic valve 1. Then it runs the exhaust gas into space 6e via EGR control valve 13 after going through EGR passage 16, and again heats the inner port 6a. After this process, the exhaust gas is so designed as to spew out into a suction manifold from a spouting part 6f. An electromagnetic valve 11 is switched over during exhaust gas release, causing exhaust gas to be discharged through an exhaust gas release tube 12.
