Abstract
PURPOSE: The above mentioned forged steel improved the strength and toughness, by increasing the quantity of C, adding V and containing Si, Mn, Ni, Cr, Mo, Al (Sol) as specific constitutions and less than a specific content of P and S as impurities.
CONSTITUTION: C;0.33W0.40%, Si;≤0.50%, Mn;0.40W0.80%, Ni;2.50W4.00%, Cr;2.00W3.00%, Mo;0.2W0.7%, V;0.05W0.25%, Al(Sol) 0.01W0.06% by weight, are added to the main component Fe and each P and S is contained less than 0.030% as impurities. Steel ingot having the above constituent, is made by melting and tensile strength is reached more than 100kg/mm2 by carrying out hot forgoing. Heavy gauge forged product more than 100mm thickness having an excellent toughness, is able to obtain.
