Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation of the line speed after the looper, in order to secure the quality of final product uniformly, by installing the speed change limiter for reducing the changing rate of the line speed between the upstream and downstream of the looper, at the boundary of the system for produing the line speed signal on upstream side of the looper, and the system for producing the line speed signal on downstream side of the looper. CONSTITUTION:The rolling work is continuously carried out by the rolling line, while the extraction speed for the raw material is controlled by the pinch roll so as to keep the level of the molten steel 2 in the mold 4 at the specified value, and by installing the looper 29 on the line.
