Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible deep drawing without any crack by mixing used corrugated card board with a long synthetic chemical fiber with a relatively high melting point and having a thermosetting resin contained therein.
CONSTITUTION: 60W95% by weight of used corrugated card board is mixed with 5W40% by weight of long fiber as natural fiber or synthetic chemical fiber at least more than 10mm long with a melting point exceeding 150°C. 5W50% by weight of a powdered thermosetting resin such as phenol and alkyd resin is added to the mixture. Then, it is put into a hot air passing heating furnace to preliminarily strengthen the thermosetting resin for a weak mat fastening. Thereafter, the product is cut with a cutter to match any molding dimensions and stored into lay boy, and thus a molding mat is produced.
