Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an optimum air-fuel ratio in accordance with the load, by operating an electronic control of fuel injection quantity, according to a valve opening period of the intake valve, and controlling the injection quantity of fuel correspondingly to the intake air quantity.
CONSTITUTION: If moved leftward a throttle lever 14, made interlocking to the accelerator, and made displacement leftward a piston 16, 17, opening degree of a through hole 26 is increased, and the oil pressure in a pressure-regulating chamber 25 rises. This oil pressure causes a cam shaft 3 to move leftward, and the contact point, between a cam 5 and an intake valve 4, is changed with a valve opening period of the intake valve 4 changing. And this oil pressure is detected by a sensor 35, and its detected value is inputted to a fuel injection control circuit 36, and the control circuit 36, in addition to this detected value, is inputted an intake temperature sensor 45, engine rotational speed sensor 46, etc., with an optimum fuel injection quantity determined, and a pulse signal, that controls the valve opening time of a fuel injection valve 39, is outputted.
