Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance developability, transferability, and storage stability, by adding a specified releasing agent to a toner composition containing a resin having specified monomer groups, and a magnetic powder.
CONSTITUTION: A resin containing monomer groups of formulae (1), (2), and (3), by 5W20mol%, 20W60mol%, and 20W75mol%, respectively, is added to a toner in an amount of 15W40wt% based on the total weight of toner. Further, a resin of block-terpolymer of polystyrene-polybutadiene-polystyrene of 150W500kg/ cm2 tensile strength by 5W20%; one kind of polybutene, polybutadiene, and chlorinated paraffin of molecular weight 300W2000 as a surface releasing agent, by 0.5W10%; and magnetic powder 40W70% are added. As a result, a magnetic toner composition suitable to all the systems of heat roller fixing is obtained. This toner has a particle diameter of 3W44μ and an electric resistivity of 109W1016ohm. cm.
