Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance developability, transferability, and storage stability, by adding a specified releasing agent to a toner composition containing a resin having specified monomer groups, and a magnetic powder.
CONSTITUTION: A resin containing monomer groups of formulae (1), (2), and (3) by 5W20mol%, 20W60mol%, and 20W75mol%, respectively, is added to a toner by 15W40wt% based on the total toner weight. Further, a resin of block-terpolymer of polystyrene-polybutadiene-polystyrene of 150W500kg/cm2 tensile strength by 5W 20%; one kind of polystyrene, polyethylene, polycarbonate, and ehtylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, each having a molecular weight of 10000 or less, as a surface releasing agent, by 0.5W20%; and a magnetic powder by 40W70% are added, permitting a magnetic toner composition suitable to all the systems of heat roller fixing to be obtained. This toner has a particle diameter of 3W44μ and an electric resistivity of 109W1016Ω.cm.
