Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to transfer quickly maintenance information on arrival of a request from a master controller by actively sending maintenance information by a controller and by temporarily storing the received maintenance information in a memory by a communication controller. CONSTITUTION:Once abnormality occurs in remote line concentrator RLC, detailed information is actively transferred to cmmunication controller CCU. On every reception, controller CCU stores the information in information retaining memory M in its owen unit and then sets a fault occurrence graph. Time-division switch-board TDSW scans on this graph synchronously and recognizes the fault occurrence of unit RLC from its set state. Next, the transfer of detailed information is repeated between switchboard TDSW and unit CCU and the detailed information is all transferred to swtich-board TDSW without sending a request signal to unit RLC.
