Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to mask data unneeded for a display unit when an address which is not in process of execution is as signed, by providing a unit with a circuit which distinguishes a memory address where no program is being executed. CONSTITUTION:An ordinary online monitor unit is provided with parallel out register 8 which holds address CAD by pulse CS generated by address coincidence circuit 4 while address CAD of center arithmetic unit 1 agrees with assignment address PAD of online monitor address assignment unit 6 and address coincidence circuit 9 for its output LCA and address PAD. Once an address is monitored which is not in process of execution, address LCA becomes dissident from address PAD and mask signal MK from circuit 9 becomes level ''L'' to mask the unneeded data part of display unit 7. When a address in process of execution is monitored address LCA agrees with address PAD and signal MK becomes level H to allow display unit 7 to display the entire data.
