Abstract

PURPOSE: To make production and assembling easy by providing a cylindrical hollow part approximately equal to the diameter of a fiber cord, making one surface plane and inserting the fiber cord through the slit in the axial direction provided on the face opposing thereto.
CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber cord 10 consists of an optical fiber 1, reinforcing layer 2 and covering 3. A wiring part 20 is formed by a cylindrical grip 5 of the diameter approximately the same as the diameter of the fiber cord 10 in the axial direction, one plane part 4 and a slit 6 extending in the axial direction to the face opposing to said face. The width of the slit 6 is selected finer than the diameter of the fiber cord 10 and the fiber cord 10 is inserted through the slit 6 into the cylindrical space and is thereby gripped. Hence, wiring and production may be made easier.
