Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve an efficiency in utilizing heat contained in exhaust gas by increasing a sectional area of a passageway for the exhaust gas contacting with a portion having a high temperature and slowing down a velocity of a flow of the exhaust gas.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel oil sent into an oil pot 2 at a bottom of a combustion chamber 1 is evaporated and burnt by heat in the combustion chamber 1, thereby, the combustion heat is radiated through a transparent reinforced window glass 7 at a front surface of the combustion chamber 1. Exhaust gas of the combustion is induced from an exhaust port 3 above the combustion chamber 1 into a flue 5 and is descended along a backside of a back surface 4 of the combustion chamber. The back surface 4 thereof is consisting of metallic plates and a temperature thereof becomes high because flame is formed along the back surface 4, further, a complete combustion of the exhaust gas is promoted because the back surface 4 is provided with radiation plates 6 at the back side thereof. In this case, a portion with which the flame is contacting becomes to have a highest temperature within the back surface 4, therefore, the metallic plates of the surface 4 are heated more effectively by introducing the exhaust gas to the back side thereof so as to pass therethrough as slow as possible.
