Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the accurate detection for the synchronous signals with a simple system by securing the parallel recording for the signals received the digital conversion with every bit and at the same time deciding the synchronous signal pattern according to the occurrence frequency of the high and low levels which form the bit signals.

CONSTITUTION: With conversion of the analog signal A into the n-bit digital signal, the level relation to the n-bit analog signal features as (1/2ⁿ)×VPP (VPP: maximum analog input voltage). Thus the repetitive synchronism is accelerated more and more between high level 1 and low level 0 toward the lower bits. These n-bit digital signals are recorded in parallel onto the track T₁ and so on of the magnetic tape or the like and with every bit, and the synchronous signals of the pattern of more repetition between levels 1 and 0 are applied to the higher-rank bit with the pattern of less repetition applied to the lower-rank bit respectively in accordance with the occurrence frequency of the high and low levels and with every frame F into which several data are collected. As a result, the probability of the occurrence of both the synchronous signal and the data in the same pattern can be reduced, thus securing the accurate detection for the synchronous signals with a simple system.
