Abstract
PURPOSE: To unnecessitate a hydraulic long cylinder of large capacity and curtail operation cycle by alternatively arranging filter frames fixed in the vertical direction and movable filter frames raidally through links and causing pressing filter frames to cut into filter frames.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of filter frames 5 are connected to each other at their inner and outer peripheral sides by frame opening links 7 and 8, and a plurality of other filter frames are connected to each other at their outer peripheral sides by frame opening links 9. A frame opening cylinder 4 is arranged between filter frames 5 and 6 to actuate frame opening links 8 and 9. The frame opening cylinder 4 in its stretched state applies pressure to filter frames 5 and 6 by means of pressing frames 29, and a filter chamber 35 is tightly closed to supply slurries and sludges thereto. After a predetermined time, dehydrated cakes within the filter chamber 35 are compressed, and a press cylinder 3 is stretched to more the pressing filter frame 29. Then, the frame opening cylinder 4 is shrinked to rotate the filter frames 5 and 6. As a result the filter chamber 35 is slightly opened, and the filter frame 5 is lifted to scrape off the dehydrated cakes. Then, the filter frame 5 is caused to descend to scrape off the dehydrated cakes adhering to the filter frame 6.
