Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a errorless, beautiful globe, by punching divided maps printed on a sheet and lining it with a smaller sheet of the same shape by deviating a half pitch, and forming a semispherical body, and then pasting such semispherical bodies together.
CONSTITUTION: Composite sheet 4 is formed by punching a supporting sheet on which divided maps are printed. Lining sheet 5 of the same shape but slightly smaller than this is punched. These sheets are pasted together, to form a semispherical body, by deviating a half pitch. Then, two of such semispherical bodies 4 are joined together to form a globe. Thus, a hollow spherical body with printed surface is obtained. Its strength can be increased by providing a reinforceing body in the hollow spherical body.
