Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate inconvenience of separating films of coating every time a picture is set and prevent the pictures from being destroyed, by forming on gold pictures a thick glass coating using a printing ink consisting mainly of frit which is easily cracked.
CONSTITUTION: A water-soluble paste 2 is coated on moisture-absorbing base paper 1, and patterns 3 are then printed with printing ink, which consists mainly of a gold or silver solution, on the layer of paste 2 directly or after printing thereon patterns with priting ink which consists mainly of high-quality paint for ceramics. A thick glass coating layer 4 is then printed on the patterns 3 using printing ink consisting mainly of frit which is easily cracked. An overcost consisting of a thin film 5 of a water-insoluble organic substance is thereafter formed on the glass coating layer to obtain object transfer paper.
