CONSTITUTION:As the binder component of a magnetic coating material, modified polyurethane resin containing essentially molecules with hydroxyl group at positions other than both terminals of principal chain is used. Consequently, the dispersibility of magnetic powder can be improved as well as durability, and magnetic conversion characteristics, such as the output and SN ratio, and durability can further be improved by using this modified polyurethane resin and polyvinyl butyral resin in combination.
