Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the compact filtration device of low power consumption, by providing a pair of magnetic pole cores of iron which have numerous water passage holes, in a vessel installed in a water passage, so that a filter made of thin magnetic wires is interposed between the cores and by installing an electromagnet around the vessel.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of magnetic pole cores of iron 15, 16, which have numerous water passage holes 23 in the entire magnetic pole surfaces of the cores, are provided at a prescribed distance from each other in a vessel 14 installed in a halfway portion of a water pipe 1. A filter 18 made of thin magnetic wires is fillted between the cores 15, 16. An electromagnet 22, the magnetism of which extends through the magnetic pole cores 15, 16 and the filter 18, is provided around the vessel 14. The opening percentage of the water passage holes 23 in the magnetic pole surfaces of the cores 15, 16 is gradually increased from the center toward the periphery to uniformly disperse treated water in the gap between the cores. The thickness of the upper removable core 15 is made smaller than that of the lower core 16 so that the removal and installation of the upper core 15 are facilitated.
