Abstract

CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of a halogen-containing resin is compounded with 0.01W10pts.wt., pref. 0.1W3pts.wt of one or more ether-group containing organic acid metal salts of formula [R1O-(R2O)mR3COO]nM (R1 is alkyl, aryl, alkylarly, or arlalkyl; R2 and R3 are alkylene; M is alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, zinc or dialkyltin; m>1; n is 1 or 2). Addition of 0.01W5wt%, based on the resin, of an organic phosphite compound and/or on epoxy compound exhibits synergistic effects.
