Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform the ejecting work sefely and positively by a method wherein a receiver for falling bodies of an ejected material, slag, etc. from a furnace, such as a DH furnace, a RH furnace, etc. is provided to an ejection pipe in a vertical ejection device for repairing the furnace wall of the furnace.
CONSTITUTION: The vertical ejection device is provided with an ejection port 2 at its nose, and vertically holds a shooting pipe 1. The shooting pipe 1 feeds an ejecting material into which ejection raw material and cooling water are mixed. A hopper body 21 for receiving falling bodies of the ejected material, slag, a metal, etc. from a furnace is attached at a necessary location of the pipe 1. When the ejecting material is ejected from the ejection port 2, the ejection material, the slag, the metal, etc., which do not attach to the reaction furnace, etc. and fall and disperse, are received by means of the hopper body 21, fall to a shoot 3 through an opening portion 32, and are discharged through a discharging induction passage 33. A monitoring windown is provided to the hopper body 21, and the falling bodies from the monitor window are prevented by means of a gauze 30 and a rotatory blade 28, thus ensuring monitor in the furnace by a worker on a working platform 44.
