Abstract
PURPOSE: To correctly maintain the flowing out amount of molten metal and to prevent the spilling of the molten metal, by detecting flowing out of the molten metal and by automatically controlling the inclination, stopping, and inerse inclination of the ladle after detecting the flowing rate, when the molten metal contained in the fan-shaped ladle is poured by inclining the ladle.
CONSTITUTION: A molten metal is charged in a ladle having a fan type shape 1 and the molten metal 7 is poured into a mold through a pouring port 3 by inclining the ladle 1 in the direction of the arrow. At this time, the flowing out of the molten metal 7 from the pouring port 3 is detected by a detector 6, and the molten metal 7 is continuously poured while the ladle 1 is inclined for a set time. When the set time is released, the inclining of the ladle 1 is stopped, and the molten metal at the opening and the core of the pouring port 3 is completely poured out. When the flowing out of the molten metal 7 is stopped, the condition is detected by the detector 6 and the ladle 1 is inversely inclined for a fixed time to completely cut the molten metal 7. In this way, correct amount of the molten metal is correctly poured into a mold and, at same time, lowering in the yield of molten metal due to the spilling is prevented.
