Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition giving a film having excellent abrasion resistance, by compounding a prepolymer derived from glycidol, a specific silicone compound (or its hydrolyzate), a (co)polymer of polymerizable monomer, a catalyst and a solvent.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition composed of (A) a prepolymer obtained by heating glycidol together with a catalyst and a solvent, (B) (a) a silicone compound of formula I, II, III or IV [R1, R2 and R3 are ≤6C (alkoxy; R4 is ≤6C alkylene; X is H or CH3], or its hydrolyzate and (b) one or more (co)polymers of a polymerizable monomer having one or more vinyl groups, allyl groups and/or triple bonds in the molecule [e.g. the (co)polymer of dipropargyl maleate], (C) a catalyst and (D) a solvent. The amount of (A), (B), (C) and (D), based on (A)+(D), are 95W50wt%, 5W40wt%, 0.05W10wt%, and 5W50wt%, respectively.
