Abstract
PURPOSE:To enlarge the channel width of the decoder cell, by dispersing and arranging plural MOSFET's to be used for selecting each column from plural columns to which the source and drain electrodes are connected in parallel, and the charging means, in both the column output direction and the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:The column outputs Y1-Y8 are obtained by controlling each MOSFET by means of input of the row consisting of a charging control signal phiP, a discharging control signal -phiP, signals X1-X4, and their opposite phase signals -X1-X4. And, for instance, as for 2 columns of the column outputs Y1, Y2, the FET MY1X1 and MY1phiP for the column Y1 are provided on the column output side, are output once in the direction opposite to the column output side by an aluminum wire from the drain of the decoder cell MX2 which is used in common, the FET MY2X1 and MY2phiP for the column Y2 are arranged in that position, and after that, they are returned again to the row output side by an aluminum wire, and the row output Y2 is made. Other column outputs are also same. In this way, the channel width of the MOSFET can be enlarged without disturbing the column output pitch or increasing it.
