Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a food having a high nutritive value and improved shelf stability, by adding glutinous rice to fries of dried shirmps, onion, etc., seasoning, boiling, blending them with ingredients, packing the prepared food with a bamboo sheath, followed by sealing up and sterilizing.
CONSTITUTION: The shirmps 1 and tiny pieces of onion are fried, and blended with glutinous rice 2 soaked in water for one day. A seasoning solution is added to the blend and boiled. The boiled blend is blened with ingredients, e.g., the leaf mustard pickle 3, the Japanese chestnut 4, quail egg, shiitake (mushroom), etc., and they are packed into almost a quadrilateral by the bamboo sheath 6 with its back outside. The packed food is sealed up air-tightly by the synthetic film 8, and sterilized under heating.
