Abstract
PURPOSE:To make communication possible even if a disturbing light is incident, by detecting the incident disturbing light to control the amplification degree of a receiving circuit according to the detection output. CONSTITUTION:A current flowed due to the disturbing light incident onto photodetecting element 1 is detected as voltage drop of resistance 6. At this time, the AC current dependent upon signal components is bypassed by capacity 8 connected in parallel to resistance 6. The drain and the source of FET9 are inserted in series to AC bypass capacity 7 of emitter-grounded amplifier 3, which amplifies the light signal, to constitute a circuit so that the voltage between the gate and the source is given by the voltage of resistance 6. When the disturbing light is incident and a noise current is flowed to photodetecting element 1 to increase voltage drop of resistance 6, the conductance of FET9 is lowered, and the AC signal is flowed to resistance 11, and the amplification degree fo amplifier 3 is lowered up to a value determined by the ratio of emitter-grounded resistance 11 to collector load resistance 10. Consequently, communication is possible even if the disturbing light is incident.
