Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the slot space factor and highten the starting torque by a method wherein an auxiliary coil of the P group having a phase difference of the electrical angle 90 deg. toward the main coil of the P group is prepared and further an addition of the P/2 group, which is opposed phase to the main coil, is furnished. CONSTITUTION:The relation of the slot number N to the pole P shall be N=mP (m is an integer), the P group of the main coil 2 of the concentric winding having the maximum slot pitch (m) is prepared to be connected with the power source 6. Further the auxiliary coil 3 of the P group is prepared so as to have the phase difference of the electrical angle 90 deg. toward the main coil 2, while an addition coil 4 of the P/2 groups, which is opposite phase to the main coil 2, is furnished being received by the slot of the maximum slot pitch (m) of the main coil 2 and said auxiliary coil 3, addition coil 4 and a capacitor 5 are connected with the power source 6 in series. In case the vectors of the main coil, auxiliary coil, addition coil are V1, V2', V4 respectively, the vector given to the capacitor 5 is to be V3' thus making it possible to make a big starting torque.
