Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a plate barrel reach a set phase at high speed and high precision by detecting a phase displacement of a plate barrel with the assistance of a potentiometer and controlling the drive of a phase correction motor through the on-touch operation of a phase correction switch. CONSTITUTION:If a phase correction switch 51 is depressed, a start signal is output from a memory 52, giving a normal rotation to phase correction motors 25, 26, 33, 34 after passing through AND circuit 53. This rotation causes plate barrels 9, 10, 13, 14, to rotate, providing an initial setting of each plate barrel with the help of a timer 56. Simultaneously, the negative rotation of motors 25, 26, 33, 34 is started by means of AND circuit 58 and when the plate barrel has coincided with a reference phase, the contents of the memory 52 aree cancelled to stop the motors.
