PURPOSE:To prevent overrun of the control operation, by detecting abnormality of the program control device by the absence of the periodic signal which is output from the program control device and can detect a fault. CONSTITUTION:Operation control device 31 controls, for example, an injection molding device and takes in outputs of various sensors 41-4N, which are provided in molding device 10, through input device 32 and bus 34 and outputs prescribed operation results through bus 35 and output device 33 to drive actuators 51-5N such as control valves. Operation control device 31 sends private output signal ST to abnormality detecting circuit 71 also. If signal ST is not sent within a reference time, the operation control device is reset by reset signal SR, and output device 33 is controlled through driving control circuit 72 to cut off all control outputs from operation control device 31, thereby preventing overrun of the control operation.
