Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized direct current output voltage with insulation for a direct current, by mounting a saturable transformer between an electric power source and a load. CONSTITUTION:When a clock pulse Ep with a fixed periodic cycle is applied to a base of a transistor TR1, the TR1 enters an on-off state with a load fed with a current through a diode D1 during the output period T1. When a saturable transformer T is saturated by a power source voltage Ei, the TR1 enters an off-state while a transistor TR2 enters an on-state, and until the TR1 again enters an on-state by a subsequent clock pulse, a control voltage is applied to a control winding Nc, with a magnetic core of the saturable transformer T reset accordingly. Thus a control system is carried on so that when a change in the output voltage is made, the control voltage E changes, and the ''on'' period of the transistor TR1 changes and the direct current output voltage changes, resulting in a stabilized direct current output voltage.
