Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure buffering operation and to stabilize it normally by supporting a mirror body, rotatable on two shaft centers, via a spring and by permitting the mirror to rotate on the front rotating shaft with the rear rotating shaft disengaged in the rotation direction when the mirror is applied with a shock. CONSTITUTION:As impulsive force F is applied to mirror body 1, the body is inclined around the farther shaft center 7 according to the relation between force and moment, but mirror body 1 returns its original position with the force of torsion spring 9. Even when the force is applied in direction F' to incline it around shaft center 6, the same effect is obtained. However, when impulsive forces F and F' are great, mirror body 1 rotates on shaft centers 7 and 6 and at some point, torsion spring 9 is inverted to incline the mirror body automatically. Therefore, buffering operation is put into effect securely and sufficiently and stability in normal fitting is excellent.
