Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the inexpensive recovery of the sludge of low water contents by disposing the inside and outside pipes provided with multiple holes on their peripheral surfaces in concentrical circle form, respectively with a screw as their central position and interposing filter means in the spacing between the inside and outside pipes.
CONSTITUTION: The water to be treated containing sludge is flowed in through an influent port 20. However, a motor 3 is held unrevolved. Hence, the water to be treated flowed in is filled in each chamber segmented by screw pitch and boosts the pressure therein. With an increase in the pressure, the water permeates through the holes and filter cloth or filter paper 11 on the peripheral surfaces of the patch plates constituting inside and outside pipes 9, 10 and overflows into a receiving tank 18. At the time when the sludge remaining on the inner side of the filter cloth becomes large in amount, a motor 3 is operated to revolve a screw shaft 5. The remaining sludge 21 is pushed to the direction of a terminal pipe 13 and is discharged to the outside against the pressure by a movable plate 16.
