Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the efficient firing and combustion of solid fuel, by a method wherein ash drops holes are bored in a bottom plate of a combustion cylinder and in the proximity of its circumference and flame blow-up holes combined with air hole are perforated in an ash tray located below the combustion cylinder bottom plate so that the holes are displaced in position from the ash drop holes.

CONSTITUTION: Ash drop holes 3a are concentrically bored in a bottom plate 3 of a combustion cylinder 1, and flame blow-up holes 4a combined with air holes are formed in an ash tray located below the bottom plate 3 at the center side so that the holes are displaced in position from the ash drop holes. Solid fuel 6 are charged into the combustion cylinder to be placed on a firing source (not shown). Flames blow up through the flame blow-up holes 4a combined with air hole, and further blow up to an upper part through the ash drop holes 3a to fire the solid fuels 6. After firing, air is well supplied even if the firing source is extinguished, and this allows continuance of well combustion. Ashes drop onto the ash tray 4 through the ash drop holes 3a, and are prevented from falling on the firing source. This permits the efficient and sanitary firing and combustion of the solid fuel 6.
