Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide displays of levels for the all band and the plural number of split frequency bands within a limited dynamic range by a method wherein the sensitivey of the level display for the total zone is set relatively lower than that of a spectrum display.
CONSTITUTION: An input signal is amplified by an amplifier 11, before being sent to band pass filters 231W23n and an attenuator 25. Each output signal of the band pass filters 231W23n is converted into a DC signal in rectifier smoothing circuits 141W14n before being sent to a level axis driving circuit 18. On the other hand, the input signal attenuated by the attenuator 25 is sent to the level axis driving circuit 18 via the rectifier smoothing circuit 16. The levels of the output signals of the rectifier smoothing circuits 141W14n, 16 are displayed in a display 20.
