Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to perform operations to check and monitor all region in a PCV by means of a single checking and monitoring vehicle, by a method wherein a vehicle provided with both caterpillar type wheels for travelling on the ground and wheels for travelling on a track.
CONSTITUTION: Caterpillar type wheels 11W14 work independently from each other, and, for example, the wheel 11 can change its attitude so that a leg body 11B draws a circular loop centering around a shaft 11A. In case a vehicle is changed in a travelling manner from running on the ground to running on a track, track travelling wheels 20A and 20B, acting as bearing, engages sides of a track in a manner to approach and members of arms 19A and 19B. With the wheels 20A and 20B rotated, a robor 1 runs on the track in a state being suspended at the track.
