Abstract

PURPOSE: To differentiate the ignition timing depending upon whether the present revolution is above or under the preset number of revolution by making a switchover, at said preset number of revolutions, between two angle pulse sensors having each different ignition characeristic.
CONSTITUTION: Sensors 7a and 7b having each different characteristic (a) or (b) respectively, are switched over from each other, by using a relay contact point 19 and a number of revolutions sensor 18 which becomes off when it reaches the preset number of revolution. When the revolution is above said preset number of revolution, the ignition timing is set through said characteristic of (a) of said angle sensor 7a, because said relay contact point 19 is off. Under said preset number of revolution, the ignition timing is decided by an angle sensor 7b owing to a self- hold characteristic of thyrister 10. If a transister 13 becomes off at a time of an engine firing, a thyrister 6 is set to on by an electric supply from a power source Vcc via condenser 15, to ignite an engine. Accordingly, ignition characteristic can be changed according to a number of revolution.
