Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture the captioned molded component without positional displacement of a pattern by a method wherein a patterned base member is mounted on the concave part of a molding die provided according to a patterning position and FRP molding material is charged and molded in a molding die.
CONSTITUTION: For example, when the floor surface 4 of the wash place 2 of a half unit bath tube 3 is patterned by SMC (sheet molding compound obtained by molding FRP molding material where additives like glass fiber etc. are mixed with polyester resin), an approximate square concave part 7 is provided on the floor surface 6a of a wash place forming part 6 on the surface of the molding die 5 having an uneven surface according to the surface shape of the bath tube 3, and a patterned base member 8 having a desired printed design is mounted on the concave part 7. Then, after the SMC's 10a and 10b are charged respectively on the bath tube forming part 9 and the wash place forming part 6 of the molding die 5, an upper die is put thereon, heated and pressed to form the bath tube 3.
