Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish perfect maintenance of function with discovery of defective conditions before shift to its worst by detecting changes in the current or voltage gnerated before the trouble in the electric circuit shifts to its worst distinguished from changes at the controlling.
CONSTITUTION: A relay circuit of DC action is composed of a power source 4, a relay 5, a switch 6, a transformer 7 and a resistor 8 handling variations at defective point. On the other hand, arranged are voltage comparators 9 and 9' adapted to detect the generation of pulse voltage by comparing it with a reference voltage 10 and to detect the voltage generated when the pulse voltage fails by comparing it with a reference voltage 10'. The simultaneous generation of the voltage comparators 9 and 9' is recorded on a recorder 11. The current 1 reduces rapidly with the control of the switch during the changing condition of the circuit while the variation of the current 2 is limited in case of defective circuit. This enables the discovery of the defective condition prior to the shift to its worst.
