Abstract
PURPOSE: To ease the spot printing by forming a cold-set developer ink layer, which contains a developer and waxes, on a microcapsule layer, which contains a press- sensitive dyestuff, provided on the base sheet.
CONSTITUTION: The cold-set developer ink layer 3, which contains a developer, waxes and resin, if desired, that has compatibility with said both components, is provided on the microcapsule layer 2, which contains a press-sensitive dyestuff, applied to the surface of the base sheet 1 to make up a single carbon paper. For the developer, an electron acceptable organic polymer and a metal salt of a compound with phenolic hydroxyl group or carboxylic acid metal salt are useful. For the cold-set ink, the one such that the developer, waxes and synthetic resin are in the compounding ratios 100:100W900:100W500 by weight is suitable. Also the wax the melting point of which is 20W120°C and which is colorless or of light color is preferable.
